Merry Christmas

I was packing up my bag of 70% cycling clothes, 20% shoes and 10% everything else for my trip "home" today and I decided to peruse the OnDemand movies. I watched "A River Runs Through It" twice last week because I kept falling asleep. last night I watched the merry Christmas movie "Less Than Zero". Does anyone else remember this movie? I read the book when I was in 8th grade and was rather shocked despite growing up in Berkeley. I have quite puritanical thinking at times and well, Julian's drugs and ho'ing (not in the Santa way) were just a little too much for me!
I greatly enjoyed it last night and managed to get everything packed away. A mouse (yes, still have them even though I thought they were all dead) ate the Luna bar I left on my suitcase for the flight. FUCKER.

Raymond of Fusion Cycling did this
today. I think it's funny... but I think he has a lot of time on his hands!!
California Wimp

Do you see this? How do I get to work? kidding. But, this really has an effect on getting to the gym and being on the bike.
Boo none
Boo on Boonen. Oh well, like Lance, he too likes them young. It's reported that his girlfriend is 16. And I got weirded out because a 25 year old asked me out last year.
In other noteworthy news, I skied my pants off yesterday at Vail. Not literally. I was in the bowls and in knee to thigh deep powder. Apparently, when I get tired, my left turn really goes away as telemarking isn't second nature to me yet. The guys I skied with called me Zoolander. I actually thought that was pretty witty.
Ratatouille
So, I have a mouse in my house. I was trying to deal with this calmly, but this morning, the little bugger went into my carry on bag and ate my Lufthansa provided truffles. Earlier this year, I realized that this mouse was chowing down on my Gu's and Clif bars. I cleaned and there is usually no food remaining in my kitchen. Upon leaving for Europe, I barricaded my cupboards, and put everything in Tupperwear and the fridge. The only item left out was Easter candy in a bowl from yes, Easter. I found chewed up pink tin foil on the living room floor when I returned (as well as a completely unrepaired fire place.)
So, I spoke with a Partner at work and the answer isn't a pretty one. Off to Home Depot tonight to buy the unkind and inhumane mouse traps. I tried. I cleaned with bleach and bought the little mouse houses, but now, I am PISSED. I found mouse poop on a Max Mara sweater in my bedroom. This is WAR.
